As an artist who was just coming into graphic design a couple of years ago I was  hesitant to believe graphic design was art, but as the years go on and I see what it entails I see it as  a great form of art now. Sure, it is a software program that formulates colors and shapes mathematically, but it is the designer who has to decide how best to put it together. It is the designer who has to make it look good and blend well together. It can be just as creative as any other form of art (sometimes better) that exists.

Like any other artists and human for that matter I have flaws and I am forever learning and getting better at whatever I do including art.

As with any artist I incorporate the things I love in life to inspire and create my art. Music is probably the most important thing in my life and even in my pieces that aren’t about music there is always a part of music in it even if it is just subtle.

I’m not sure what I exactly tend to do with this blog, but I hope to keep a diary; maybe document my progress with my designs and show myself my flaws and improvements.
